Microporous Rubber
Microporous rubber, also known as porous or foam rubber, is made from EPDM rubber (air, UVD is resistant to the effects of atmospheric radiation) and fire. The micropores in the rubber are closed, so they do not let air through and do not absorb water. This soft and elastic rubber is used in the production of gaskets, seals, vibration dampers, thermal insulation and noise damping.
Dimensions for rubber sheets of microporous rubber:
- Thickness: 2-50 mm
- Sheet dimensions: 1000 x 2000 mm
Technical data:
- Density: 90-110 kg/m3
- Hardness: 35-40 Sh
- Resistance to stretching: 0.3-0.4 MPa
- Relative elongation: 120-200 %
- Working temperature: -40 oC to +90 oC
