Plastic curtain strips for warehouses and production facilities

Plastic curtain strips for warehouses and production facilities are ideal for entrance gates in large facilities. These curtains reduce heat loss and maintain temperature. With an operating temperature from -5°C to +60°C, they provide effective protection. Available in thicknesses: 2, 3, 4 mm and widths: 200, 300, 400 mm. Flexible roll of 50 m, customised as needed.

Overlapping PVC strip curtains

For internal openings where only pedestrian traffic is expected, we recommend 200mm x 2mm strips with minimum to medium overlap. If more intensive traffic is planned, we recommend 300 mm x 3 mm strips with medium or maximum overlap. For outdoor openings and cold storage, we recommend 300 mm x 3 mm or 400 mm x 4 mm with medium or maximum overlap. A larger overlap provides more wind protection and reduces electrical or thermal energy losses.

PVC louvres, which are smooth – suitable for all cases where no intensive movement of pedestrians, shopping trolleys or other equipment is expected. This type of louvre provides maximum transparency and tightness, making it ideal for cold rooms and commercial applications.

Anti-static louvres are most suitable where extremely low or no static charge is required. It is also perfect for covering entrances and exits to rooms such as laboratories with sensitive equipment or server rooms and electronics workshops.

Frosted PVC curtains are almost opaque but allow light to pass through easily. When you look through them, you won’t see the person or thing in detail, only the outline will be visible, maintaining privacy.

What's important to know about PVC vertical blinds

You can choose between two different installation methods. You can attach the hanging rail to the wall above the opening or to the load-bearing rafter or roof of the opening itself. Which installation method is most suitable depends on the type of opening and the position around the edges of the opening.

The higher the height of the opening, the wider the strips we recommend:

If there are 2.5 m high openings, we recommend 200 mm width and 2 mm thick PVC slats.

Between 2.5 m and 4 m high, we recommend 300 mm wide and 3 mm thick PVC slats.

For openings from 4 metres and higher, we recommend 400 mm wide and 4 mm thick PVC slats.
