Assembly
This system can be used with multi-wall polycarbonate up to 25 mm thickness, and solid polycarbonate. It can also be used with glass and glass units up to 24 mm thick. Sheets of polycarbonate will expand and contract when the temperature changes, always allow room for expansion when joining sheets. Slab width should be reduced by 10mm to allow for expansion. For example, if you are fitting a 10mm board and the rafters are 700mm apart (centre to centre) – use 690mm wide boards.
Pay attention! When ordering or cutting polycarbonate to the required length, remember that your sheet should be 10mm shorter than the rafters to allow fitting with aluminum F profile or plastic U profile on the end.
